Today marks Day 1 of my Detox. Body weight and measurements ✅

I’m tweaking my approach in fasting for 16 hours for day 1 - 8. Breakfast at 1 pm today✅

Still drinking H2O still eating my fruit and veggies - meals already prepped✅

This week I’ll be having smoothies to break my fast, and alternate between these veggies bowl ( roasted broccoli, sweet potato, chickpeas, green and red bell peppers, pesto, and 1/4 cup brown rice) and salad.

Trust the process! Let the results speak for themselves😁 I’m so pleased with the entire process and with my newfound eating habits. I can’t wait to continue on this journey with consistent fasting and detoxing every quarter or 6 months in this manner. Hey y’all 👋🏽I just wanted to check in and let you know I’m still in it to win it! Today’s 20hr fast is smoother and I’m less hungry then the day before. Yesterday around this time my stomach was growling so loudly I thought others could hear it - Day 12’s- 20 hours feels like a breeze🥰

Y’all I just wanted to share that my BP has reduced greatly. My BP has been as high as (153/108) for quite some time. About 6 months ago I finally allowed myself to start taking the BP meds to help lower it. Everyone was telling me how I could die if I didn’t get it under control. I didn’t want to take them because yeah it may reduce the BP but what other ailments would they cause. Although the meds did lower it, I still wasn’t in the 120/80 range. And I refused to go to a higher dosage. I knew I didn’t want to be dependent on them.

I’m pleased to report that for the past two days I haven’t taken those meds, and my BP has been like 106/76 or 112/83 🙌🙌🙌( I notice when I have my arm raised over my heart when I take it, it’s lower) ❤️❤️❤️ In addition to the weight loss I’ve experienced and the health improvements I’m beyond excited, appreciative of all you guys for walking this journey together ❤️❤️❤️

Man was I stalking the clock around 11am! Be I made it!!🙌🙌🙌

I work from home so around 1pm I hit the kitchen to prep all my veggies & seasonings and made a quick meal which was very tasty & filling!

Olive oil,Onion, garlic, celery, bell peppers (all colors) parsley, jalapeño, celery leaves, beet leaves, cabbage, carrot, zucchini w/ chickpeas, apple cider vinegar

Garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, mrs. Dash, red pepper flakes, squeeze of 1/2 lemon & 1/2 orange

Here’s what I did yesterday - I’ve found that I’m real weak and lightheaded during the fasting periods, so for me, I workout after I’ve broken my fast.

Fasted from 8p - 1:39p

6 oz sautéed green beans w/ garlic, bell peppers, and sweet onion - seasoned w/ squeeze of 1/2 lemon, 1/2 orange, (garlic, onion, red pepper flakes, and smoked paprika) paired with baked sweet potato ( topped w/ coconut manna, cinnamon, and nutmeg)
