Tasha is he just doing too much! He has a wall up and trying to act harder than he is. If he was doing all that to people believe me somebody would have spoke up. He is not slapping anybody looking like Al B sure cousin… it’s hard to feel bad for someone who is pretending that that they used to “slap bitches” 😂😂😂

Down 3 more lbs post detox. Also i suffer from both allergies and sinus horribly. Just now realized i have not had a bit of drainage since we started the fasting portion. Only had just a bit (think it was the detoxing) since the third day of the detox. This alone has convinced me to change my eating habits. Can’t thank you Tasha K and Mr. Awakening enough for awakening my ass!!!

Day 14 in the books and I am late once again. I had know idea i could do this. We did this yall!!! Oh and why didn’t anybody tell me that going plant based vegan was cheaper!!! I stocked my entire freezer and refrigerator and spent $144.00 and like $20 on all the good fruit and veggies. That is the cheapest i have ever spent to stock my entire refrigerator and freezer. I am so all in.

So here we are!!! Good morning beauties. We are here. Let me tell you the 23 hour fast was such a breeze. I was 20 mins late to eat and trying to rush because i knew i would only have one hour to eat. Well i only ate for like 25 mins. So i started my 24 hour fast early.

Pro tip: stay busy and the hours fly by.

I am more than half way through the 24 hour fast? How many more hours do you have? Have you started thinking about what you will do on day 16?

I purchased my first ever vegan cookbook. I have really thoroughly browsed our vegan grocery store. I purchased some vegan Parmesan cheese. I am ready and confident to continue in the plant based journey.

Now i have also set expectations for myself. I am allowing myself 3oz of meat once a week. Also when i eat out this will be my “cheat” meal. I don’t eat out much at all so these will be meaningful outings with great company and good times. However in my home there will be a plant based diet PERIOD!!!

Detoxers (Winos) let me tell you there is a whole delicious looking world of plant based foods out there. We proved that with our own creative recipes that we proudly shared.

This is emotional because we are at the end, we one the race!🏆🏆🏆

I have to be honest and say in the beginning i questioned if i could do it (especially when it came to the fasting) but because of the way Tasha held our hand and gave us this beautiful transition this was actually a breeze. To think my biggest struggle was actually eating! Yes there were mental challenges but everyday i was rushing to eat because i would go over the fasting hours.

My body is so thankful. And on the behalf of the people in my life who i put on the detox with me they also thank you Tasha.

Also thank all of you for being the support system and sisterhood that made this fun and easy! I enjoyed this so much. It was actually a fun experience which i was not expecting…

Chelsea thank you for the planner which i referred to often!

Thank you to our whole community for allowing me to use the community board as journal. Thank you all for posting your lows and your highs. And thank you for all of the wonderful recipe ideas. As someone who is constantly having to think about nourishment and entertainment for others it was nice to be inspired by my community for my own nourishment.

1st are you getting the H2o in💧💦💧. Remember we are at 23 hours today so water and prayer are your best friends today and tomorrow.

Ok so things that have happened:

I slept in this morning. Yay!!! Sleeping in was waking up at 6:27am.

I am mentally less annoyed about waking up with God in the mornings.

I am not moving enough after i eat so in the morning i am having a huge bowel movement first thing. So now i know i need about 15 mins or so of movement so i can maybe take one at night before bed.

I get on the scale first thing in the morning after the above. The scale said 285.5. That’s another 4 or 5 lbs down.

I have now lost at total of 20lbs from the detox alone!!!!

This is a BIG ONE!!! THE VITAMINS B12 and D3 are making me MORE HUNGRY!!!! So i am going to switch when i fast to not taking my vitamins until two hours prior to breaking the fast. So for anyone experiencing major hungry try switching the time of your vitamins.

As far as my hormones. I have been kind to my body giving it plenty of rest. I have meditate and practiced breathing every morning. I use my heating pad so cramping during my cycle has been at a level 2 or 3 instead of a 10+. Also NO HORMONAL ACNE!!!

And finally, when i break my fast, my mind says you are going to eat the ENTIRE refrigerator. But my stomach says Bitch no your not. I get to break with some fruit, 1 smoothie, a bowl of veggies (which by the way i have just started mixing all my leftovers into a bowl and eating them. Don’t judge), and a handful of nuts and no sugar added cranberries for dessert. And that’s it. I stopped eating 30 mins before it was time because i just can’t eat anymore.

I know this was a long post but i hope that this helps for people who are starting the detox in the future or are in the middle of their detox or if anyone was having these experiences, know that you aren’t alone.

Love you guys!!! We are crushing this thang and i am soooo proud of us!!!

Reminders on how to get it down if your struggling:

Add lemon/ lime

Add Ice

Use a straw

Drink at least 12oz at a time

Start your morning off with water

Only drink water (this helps your body get used to only having water)

I weighed yesterday morning and full transparency my weight said 294.4. Yes i am a big ole horse 🐎 5’10 and got up to every bit of 325lbs. But anyway i just got in the scale because i am getting ready to break my fast and the scale said 288.5. You think i broke my scale?I got on it like ten different times… Still 288.5… Is it possible to loose 5.9lbs in just over 24 hours??? I am going to be back on it again… that can’t be right… BRB…
