HEY EVERYONE!!! This is an
INVITATION To FASTING & PRAYING/MEDITATING

I woke up today deciding to join in a 44-Day Fast...and I know Christmas and New Years is coming up and you feel it will be a battle to decline the food and things BUT don't think of the battle...think of the blessings and breakthroughs that will happen!!! Don't skip out on the benefits of fasting!

Doesn't matter if you've already eaten different things today...you can start at this moment forward...the last day of the fast is January 7th!!! This means you're going to end the year strong and start off the new year with that same energy!!!

WHAT DOES THE FAST DETAIL:
44 Days is significant...The number means to draw in or invoke strength, growth, balance, positive energy, protection, affluence, stability, self-discipline, achievements, and prosperity!

Eating Timeframe:
12p-8p

Can Drink:
No less than 8 cups (2 liters) of water daily
If Tea or Coffee then it should be without sugar/sweeteners
Apple Cider Vinegar
Lemon or Cucumber or Ginger or Turmeric (or Combination) Water
Smoothies and Shakes without sugar/sweeteners

Cannot Eat/Drink:
Fried Foods/Chips
Hot & Spicy Foods
BBQ Foods
Dairy
Cereals
Sweets (Cookies/Candies/etc.) & Pastries
Overly Processed or Sweetened Breads
Alcohol & Soda Pop
Red Meats & Turkey
Overly Processed Foods

Meditation/Prayer Rules:
Do so daily for no less than 5 minutes.
Feel free to do so more than once a day.

EXTRAS YOU CAN DO DURING THE FAST:

Workouts:
Feel free to add a workout to your day that is either in the morning, before you eat in the afternoon, after eating, or before bed. It doesn't have to be for more than 10 minutes per workout. There are a lot of (black) workout youtube channels that offer 10 minute workouts even for beginners.

Self-Care:
Whatever that means for you that involves you doing something for the betterment of yourself. There are 8 types of self-care categories:

Financial/Professional/Educational
Emotional
Spiritual
Mental/Psychological
Physical
Social
Environmental
Recreational

The benefits in planning and tracking is awesome!!! For those who do not understand how to use the detox tracker via your devices, here's a sample view. The first thing you are going to need is an Annotation/Note-Taking App. THERE ARE FREE ONES!!!

This sample is via an Apple iOS device, though it's just about the same on an Android. If you are using a computer, you can use programs like Google Docs or you can get the Goodnotes Beta for Desktop that's available now. The app I'm using in the video is GOODNOTES!

So when I'm feeling seductive and "excited", I grab all the fruits I feel are sweet and seductive and blend them together such as:

  • Bananas
  • Peaches
  • Raspberries
  • Goji Berries
  • Apricots
  • Mangoes
  • Cantaloupes
  • Strawberries
  • Cherries
  • THEM DARN PINEAPPLES
  • and Oats

It's sooooooo delicious!!! And fulfilling!!!

(And here's the weird part for anyone that wants to read on) After I make this, I go sit my hot tail down at my momma's house with my epipen LOL Why do I go to her house? Cause she's a retired HRN that worked in CCU & ICU...baybaeee she's gone save my life if the epipen doesn't smh...then after I go from a decently flat stomach to looking 9 months pregnant due to the reaction, I go home and curl up with my body pillow because I'm in pain ...all this just so I can have 3 pineapple chunks...I'm stubborn...I know...smh...I used to be able to eat it for over 20 years of my life before suddenly having allergic reactions. Nonetheless, when I wake up later on at night and my stomach is back...I'M READY TO PLAY!!! I be wetter than water!!! Now if I'm single, I just turn on some good old school R&B Love Makers and put the pole up until I burn out the energy.

The aesthetics can be pleasing BUT LISTEN...you don't have to hold back posting because "you feel" it doesn't look professional or "pretty" or none of that. You posting your meals, drinks, before pics, after pics, workouts, etc. IS the MASTERPIECE and so are the details of it.

So...Don't feel shy or nervous! POST YOUR STUFF!!! You could be hipping someone to a good idea and/or you could end up receiving encouragement to keep going, etc. So don't hinder yourself...share yourself!

Most of the LA Fitness gyms have a track, swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, a free trainer and assessment, specific free classes, etc.

Some folks think you can't see a change in 7 days but you can. Be consistent. Don't make excuses for not having the time. Especially when you get on the internet for over an hour daily. You can go into the gym morning, noon, and night for 1 hour...and you'll see a change SOMEWHERE!!! Whether in your waistline, your legs, your arms, your neck, your metabolism, your heart rate...etc. Trust the process, ya'll!!!

You ain't even gotta get there and pretend to know all the machines and things. Hit the track...hit the bike...get in the pool...get in the hot tub...get in the sauna...all those things or just one thing IS PROGRESS on your body...SERIOUSLY!
